Day 1 Arrive Switzerland
Arrival in Interlaken by train 1st class from the Swiss border or airport. Interlaken is situated between the Lakes of Thun and Brienz and at the foot the famous trio of peaks, the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau in the Bernese Oberland. Your Jungfrau Centenary Pass offers you on 3 consecutive days unlimited travel on the entire Jungfrau Railways Network. After check-in into your hotel we recommend an excursion taking the Harder Funicular. It takes just 8 minutes to travel by funicular from Interlaken to the Harder Kulm, Interlaken’s home mountain, where the restaurant is reminiscent of a small castle. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 2 Excursion to Jungfraujoch
Today we recommend the journey to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, at 3454 metres Europe’s highest altitude railway station, is a highlight of every visit to Switzerland. It offers visitors a high-alpine wonderworld of ice, snow and rock, which can be marvelled at from vantage terraces, the Aletsch Glacier or in the Ice Palace. The Jungfrau Railway takes you through the rock of the Eiger and Mönch and from two intermediate stations you can enjoy stunning views to the Eiger Wall and the Sea of Ice. Overnight in Interlaken. Day 3 Interlaken
We recommend an excursion to Grindelwald first combined with fun & action. The snow-clad alpine peaks are mirrored in its blue, crystal-clear waters. The First region is the starting point for hikes and also offers plenty of action: the First Flyer, scooter-bikes and biking. Children can get their kicks in the 700m2 adventure playground close to the Bort intermediate station. Return to Swiss border or airport or alternatively continue your stay in Switzerland. (B)
