Itinerary Day 1 Interlaken
Arrive by rail from any Swiss border or airport rail station in
Interlaken. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 2 Interlaken
A day free in Interlaken to do absolutely nothing or take one of
the many excursions available to you. Take the train or boat to the
beautiful village of Brienz, famous for its wood carvers and the
open-air museum at Ballenberg. Or take a trip to the highest rail
station in Europe, the Jungfraujoch (3454m), for panoramic views of
the Alps and the Aletsch Glacier. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 3 Interlaken - Bern - Paris
After breakfast depart for Paris, connecting to the TGV train at Bern.
(You may consider a planned overnight stay in Bern, the seat of the
Swiss federal capital and a fascinating tourist destination in its own
right.) Arrive Paris in the early afternoon. Overnight in Paris.
Day 4 Paris
After a leisurely breakfast, take time to enjoy the many beautiful
sights of Paris. This is a city with history on every corner, vistas of
marvellous buildings, many of the world's top restaurants. and full
of French fashion, famous places and fun. Overnight in Paris.
Day 5 Depart Paris
Following breakfast, depart Paris for your next destination.
Alternatively consider extending your stay in France.
