Jungfrau, Matterhorn and Grindelwald

Travel to Interlaken or Grindelwald. Visit Jungfraujoch - the Top of Europe. Travel through the Bernese Oberland to Zermatt and experience the Swiss Alps.
Itinerary:
Day 1 Interlaken or Grindelwald
Arrive in Interlaken or Grindelwald by train form any Swiss Border or airport/rail station. Overnight in Interlaken or Grindenwald with bed and breakfast.

Day 2 Jungfraujoch Excursion
The Jungfraujoch railway will take you up to Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe (3454m above sea level). Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight in Interlaken or Grindelwald.

Day 3 Interlaken/Grindelwald - Zermatt
Travel through the Bernese Oberland and the Loetschberg to Brig, then on to Zermatt by first -class rail. Experience this wonderful car-free town at the foot of the Matterhorn. A perfect Alpine resort for the rest and relaxation. Overnight in Zermatt with bed and breakfast.

Day 4 Gornergrat
Today travel by cogwheel rail to Gornergrat for a superb panoramic view of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other snow-capped peaks rising 4000m above sea level. Overnight in Zermatt with bed and breakfast.

Day 5 Depart Zermatt
After breakfast, travel from Zermatt by rail to and Swiss border or airport to your next destination, or extend your Swiss stay.
