Itinerary

Day 1 Zermatt

Arrive by rail from any Swiss border or airport rail station to Zermatt. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 2 Zermatt

Day at leisure to explore the Matterhorn village. Consider an optional excursion to the Gornergatt glacier for panoramic views of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other Alpine peaks.
Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 3 Zermatt - Milan

Travel by first-class rail to the energetic city of Milan via Brig. This 4-hour journey showcases the changing landscapes between the two countries. After hotel check-in, take time to discover the history, beauty and best places to shop by taking a stroll around the city. Consider staying longer in Milan to explore Verona, Padova and Venice. Overnight in Milan.
Day 4 Milan - Rome

After breakfast continue your journey to Rome by first class rail. The train journey takes approximately 4 hours and again a morning departure is recommended to ensure a timely arrival to this Ancient metropolis. Overnight in Rome.
Day 5 Rome

A day at leisure to explore Rome. Take an organised sightseeing tour or just take a stroll along the narrow streets and discover Rome's love affair with Piazzas. A glass of wine with dinner is the perfect finish to a glorious day in Rome. Overnight in Rome.
Day 6 Depart Rome
