A day of rail travel is a 24 hour period from midnight to midnight. This allows for unlimited travel on any number of trains for each day of use.

On the days between the first and the last validated day, your Swiss Flexi Pass offers a 50% discount on train, postal bus and boat rides, as well as on most mountain-top trains. A day of rail travel is a 24 hour period from midnight to midnight. This allows for unlimited travel on any number of trains for each day of use. Travel days may be used consecutively or non consecutively.

The Glacier Express in Switzerland is one of the most scenic journeys you can take, get a real feel for Switzerland and your surroundings. Available only in conjunction with a Eurail pass containing Switzerland. If you are travelling on a Swiss Flexi or Consecutive pass your journey is fully covered and you will only need to purchase a seat reservation.
Pass Issuance Fee
Please note: a Pass Issuance Fee of $10.00 per pass will be added to the above prices. If you plan to visit one destination in Switzerland, then this is the way to go. It includes return transfers between any Swiss airport or border town and any single destination in Switzerland. Each leg of the same journey must be completed on the same day and on the most direct route.

If you are travelling
with children, be sure to ask for the free Swiss Travel
System Family Card. It entitles your children under the
age of 16 years to travel free, as long as one parent is
accompanying them. Note however, that seat reservation,
sleeper and other charges may apply, depending on the service
requested.
